“If you live to be a hundred,
I want to live to be a hundred minus one day
so I never have to live without you.”
~A. A. Milne
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and this year, I thought I would make some lovely origami hearts for my Valentine cards.
The steps are simple! All you need are some sheets of paper. Origami paper works best but anything will do. I am using tagboard paper which is a bit harder to fold but still works. Plus, I like the 3D aspect that using thick paper gives. Here are the directions via Masta Azumarek:
Once I made three hearts (one beige, one white, and one light grey), I painted the white one a light pink with some watercolors.
Next, I took another piece of small white tagboard to use as a postcard. I glued the hearts onto the card et voilà! A beautifully simple, handmade Valentine’s Day card for the lovely lady, charming gentleman, fabulous friend, or darling little one in your life!
